What is a Bring Your Own Server (BYOS) node? ▼

A BYOS node is any Linux-based host (running Debian or Ubuntu) outside of our platform. By connecting it via our lightweight curl script, the platform can deploy, manage, proxy, and back up Odoo containers on your own server. You retain full hardware ownership and control.

Can I host both Odoo Community and Odoo Enterprise? ▼

Yes! The platform fully supports provisioning both Odoo Community and Enterprise versions. For Enterprise, you simply provide your Odoo Enterprise Subscription code during project configuration.

How are database backups encrypted? ▼

All dumps and filestores are compressed and encrypted locally on the node using standard AES-256 block cipher encryption prior to upload or stream. The encryption key is managed by you in your project settings and never stored in plain text.
